It's still very pre-seasonish here in Tahoe. So we are trying to stay occupied as best we can. We really hope more snow is on the way, and to our dismay snow dances are a myth, they don't work. So pray, dance, sacrifice a small mammal, whatever you must do to bring the snow. In the meantime enjoy some boarding. . .

NIGHT SHRED. . . with Bosco & Horgan

Last night (Nov. 27th) Boreal opened for night operation, and to top that, a weather system ripped through and dropped another 6 inches of snow on Tahoe. Chris Bosco and Alex Horgan wasted no time on getting up to the hill and moon dancing in the storm. The dudes also wasted no time on shredding the hell out of whatever fresh snow they could find. Enjoy the first taste of powder in the Sierras.

FIRST SNOW

So our little town of Truckee received six inches of snow this week. Not a glorious amount, I know, but it was enough to excite the likes of John Foy, Brandon Cocard, Dan Conroy, and Alex Horgan. The group got in the van as usual and hit the local high school. With Max, Alex's dog, along for the ride, the group shreded whatever they could on the football field. Check out what they got into durring Truckee's first snow.

A DAY ON THE SLOPES with Porters Tahoe

Let me catch ya'll up. Tahoe got about 5 feet of new snow, so it's been on like donkey kong. Tim Eddy came up with the Think Thank bros, and G.I.T.V spent a couple days with them shooting for Cool Story. Then today G.I.T.V met up with Mike Basich, Sean Carney, and Giom and hit the back country. Whew, a lot to handle, but danm it was fun. Peep the photos.

P.T.F Report 7

The P.T.F ventured out to Utah last week in search of snow. Filmer Rob, Chris Gulick, Alex Peterson, and myself hit the road with hopes of riding powder. Unfortunately it warmed up, so we switched gears and went boarding in the city. All in all the trip was a success, we found some snow and had a ton of fun. Enjoy!

So the P.T.F recently invested in a Go Pro head mounted camera. P.T.F sponsor, Porters Tahoe, has these cameras in stock, and they are a blast too film with. I took this camera for a spin at Northstar to see how it worked, and to my surprise, this compact camera delivered a less than compact image. The P.T.F is very proud of there investment, and look for more head cam action from Utah. We depart for Utah tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn, and according to the weather man we will be greeted by seven days of sun and cold temperatures. Stay tuned P.T.F report seven and more shenanigans from the P.T.F.

P.T.F Goes to Alaska

P.T.F affiliate Sean Carney made a journey to Alaska to document early season snowboarding. Unfortunately Sean hit a large rock under the snow, and after flipping several times down the mountain, fell 100 feet into a crevasse. Thankfully Sean is fine, he credits his good bill of health to his Airblaster gear which cushioned his fall, and a steady diet of spinach and milk. Thanks for the Movie Sean.
